A western rancher asked the District Superintendent of his church to assign a pastor to his community. "How big a man do you want?" asked the Superintendent. "Well," the rancher replied, "we're not overly particular, but when he's on his knees we'd like him to reach heaven." Humility is expressed in kneeling. Since few churches provide kneelers for prayers, we are a pretty proud people. As Jesus taught, the humble will be exalted. When we are on our knees, we are tall enough to reach heaven.
